Eco-line Day Van

The new Eco-line Day van series combines many elements of Auto Campers award winning versatile conversions. The cornerstone of this model is affordability and the justification to build on the class leading Ford Transit Custom.

Available with three roof heights The Eco-line Day Van is the only Auto Camper series to offer you the option of a conversion only, built on approved stock or your own Transit Custom (subject to appropriate specification). Alternatively, we can also offer you a one stop completed new build configured to your specification.

Both Eco-line “RB” (Rock ‘n’ roll bed) and “SB” (Suspended bed) specifications include and share: Insulated composite floor with tough altro vinyl flooring and stainless-steel trims, side insulation, carpet lined, roof lining and table system.

Uniquely the Eco-line’s fixed furniture unit comprises of a 50ltr compressor fridge / freezer, with adjacent kitchen storage behind a tambour door, plus cutlery drawer and a cupboard for a portable toilet. The rear element of the unit is lower and contains your leisure battery, electrics, 2 x 12ltr fresh-water tanks, and gas cylinder box. The purpose of this design originates from the Day vans popular extra wide bed format, owners can choose between the optional bed infill cushion or the various modular units.

Electrics include dedicated leisure battery, split charging, 240V hook up, consumer unit incorporating MCB & RCD, 240V to 12V charger, 12V zoned LED lighting and 12V/240V sockets. Furniture is matt grey high-pressure laminate poplar wood core board. A glass lidded combination 2 burner hob and sink sits on a slate effect HPL work top. Standard glazing includes 2nd row RH slider and fixed LH complete with black out curtains & silver screens, rear doors windows are not included as standard to assist those seeking non domestic applications for business, but can be specified.

For maximum versatility The Eco-line “SB” (Suspended bed) Day van model, provides 4 floor sockets to fit optional removeable fold flat seats and a generous proportioned removeable suspended bed that can be set at 2 heights, or removed completely.

The RB (Rock ‘n’ roll bed) model provides a fixed mid mount rock ‘n’ roll seat / bed or an optional Vari-mount sliding seat which easily converts from travel seats to sleeping mode in seconds. The M1 tested seat has 2 lap and diagonal belts and optional Isofix anchors, plus the seat can be set at multiple recline angles and be set up as a chaise to enjoy your morning cuppa!
